ABOUT BOW WOW RECORDS
|
| Bow Wow Records was constructed from the ground up by S. Peterson in 1995. In our 11 years of existence, one EP and six albums later, BWR has solidified itself as
Washington
’s #1 Rap Label and ranked one of the best in the entire NW region of the
U.S.
Since our opening, our artists have charted on countless playlists and charts around the globe, done shows locally, nationally, and worldwide, as well as received an onslaught of positive interviews, and reviews, in magazines, radio stations, and internet sites. Not to mention winning several prestigious awards including the 2003 Mayor’s Award for Musical Excellence, Business Acumen, and Community Involvement from
Seattle
’s Mayor Greg Nickels. |

Throughout our decade plus, we have endured a few set backs including the federal detainment on Mr. D.O.G. for 3 years, and the coming and going of artists that plagues every record label. However, that has never stopped us from rising to the occasion and surpassing the levels of excellency previously set. But despite the roller coaster ride our label has endured, Mr. D.O.G. remains to be a household name in the Northwest. Artist still look to him to see what is the next move that they should be making. His style was and still is ahead of it’s time. From his uniquely created slang, his versatile ability to rap at various paces, and the overall rawness of his lyrics, Mr. D.O.G. continues to entertain us with something fresh and new every release. In fact, Mr. D.O.G. has either recorded or performed with the likes of:
